Technical Manual Editor (m/f)

We are looking for a flexible, independent and highly motivated technical editor able to collaborate with an international team of senior developers and product managers. In this position you functionally report to the R&D manager. 

    Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

    • Collect the technical information by discussing and collaborating with the developers and product managers
    • Create complex and big (up to several hundreds of pages) brand new technical manual for electronic, electromechanical devices and software releases
    • Layout of the manuals applying the company design rules
    • Manage the whole technical manual life cycle by collecting/fixing bugs, collecting/integrating improvements and new product’s functions/features
    • Create the needed graphics for the technical manual and deal with pictures, drawings, images
    • Translate manuals and manage translation offices (and/or mother tongue colleagues)


    • Technical education
    • 2-3 years’ experience in managing and creating complex technical documentation
    • Excellent knowledge of English language
    • Good knowledge of German and French language is welcome
    • Excellent skills in using Adobe Creative Suite (especially: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • Ability to collaborate with senior engineers
    • Capability to self-organise the daily job
